Advantages: Funky Theme, really nice room, Central Location Disadvantages: Small pool/ gym area
We booked Hotel Boscolo online through Expedia.com and got a really good last minute deal. We drove there- it was quite difficult to find down a small street and we had to pay for valet parking as you may expect in central Rome but the concierge were really friendly and helpful as were the reception staff- we booked a double room but were upgraded as they had space which was a nice touch.
Our room was stunning and decorated in a totally unique and really funky way- it was small but had everything we needed. The bathroom was mosaic and had a deep sunken jacuzzi bath and speakers so you could listen to music or the TV from the other room. The toiletries and things provided were really nice and you definately felt like you were staying in a posh boutique hotel!
For excellent pictures and more details I would recommend their website ...

One of his neighbours, a twelve year girl called Mathilda ...

Advantages: Beautiful City, lots to see & do Disadvantages: None
Walking around Verona in early June, there was a smell all over the city, not the smell of decaying rubbish as I experienced in my work trip to Naples, but the sweet smell of tree blossom, and Jasmine, even my hotel had Jasmine growing under the window!
I never really took to Shakespeare, at school I was more into war stories, and adventures, but Verona forever has the association with Romeo & Juliette, as you walk around the city, you will see plaques embedded in various walls with Shakespearean quotes.
*** Where is it? ***
Verona is in the Central Northern part of Italy
Built on a tight bend in the river Adige, it was easy to defend, as the water provided a natural barrier, also it was a natural crossing point. City walls were constructed to defend the rest of the city. The Romans had a major city here, complete ...
