Boston has to be my favourite city in the world.
It’s a great city to spend a few weeks for a holiday because there's so much to do. Theres lots of restaurants and entertainment places around such as a few I went- Hard Rock cafe was one of my prefered eating places. Boston has its on baseball team called Boston Red Socks. My favourite thing to do was going to the baseball matches. The hotdogs there rule! The supermarkets are huge and they have a great choice of food even though it's expensive. Unlike the stereotype, a lot fo food is quite healthy.
The thing that really annoyed me was the toilets there. When you go, and do whatever you want to do, the tend not to flush as they are quite smaller than British ones. We had to get a man in to fix it once which was really embarrasing.
The Boston flats are quite nice and the houses are big. But Boston airport is huge and easy to get lost in- Not advisable to get lost in. Boston is two hours away from New York on the train.
You will find lots of parks and ponds, and you might be able to get a ride on a swan boat. In the parks there's lots of cute, sweet almost tame squirrels. You can feed them with nuts and they'll come right up to you and take them from your hand.
Overall the trip to America was quite expensive but it was totally worth it- my adventure to Boston was my favourite holiday ever and made me want to live there when I'm older! I'd reccomend going to America but Boston in particular as it's a great, enjoyable city!
