im from outside of Boston and I love going to Boston when I have free time. There is really something to do for every type of person. Whenever I have out of town guests I definitely have lots of advice for them on where to go, places to stay. here it is!!
First of all look online for good hotel deals! most of boston is not soo expensive but tourist places are so be aware! orbitz.com would be a giis place to find a place to stay. 1. Museums Museums Museums if you like art the Museum of Fine Art has many increidble pieces such as Monets and Singer Sagents and the worlds best! they also have a lot of temporary exhibits as well. admission is costly however! the isbaella stuart gardner museum also has nice pieces and is ina beutiful nmansion she used to live in the New England aquarium is a personal favorite with a huge tank filled with sharks and beautiful fish...also every type of sea creature in tanks! children love it too! costly as well! 2. SHOPPING Newbury St is an outdoor street of shops like Armani Burberry Cartier some reasoable shops too. cute cafes and little boutiques. perfect for a sunny day. very clean! many international people go there to shop! nice salons for hair and beauty too!! Faneuil Hall is al lovely market place with retail stores and craft carts! You can buy soaps, casny, gifts,scarves or pretty much anything,The best pizza can be found at Reginas pizza and is world famous! also bakery items as well are very chepa and very very fresh, The Copley Mall and Prudential Center has high end retails shops like Tiffany and Neiman Marcus (very $$$$). Nice water fountains inside and pretty shops! You can buy cheaper stuff like Gap clothes there too. a movie theater here as well! Food 3.Eat at Legal Seafoods. its famous for a good reason....many locations.... Very good dela for the money! AMazing fish and lobster, Capital Grill ...many locations... expensive steak but good! ANY italian restaurant in the north end! which is the italian section of oBoston Mikes pastry shops there usually has a long line but its worth it if you like the best canolis and cakes!- -many good shows at the theatre district ! -THE sciene msuseum has laser beam shoes and a lot of fascianting exhibits! --Harvard Univeristy in Cambridge MA has beuatiful brick buildings in a lovely area with many many shops, cafes, book stores, and more. oerfect area for sunday brunch.
SPORTS SPORTS SPORts go to a bseball game to see the Red Sox, Basketball game to see the Celtics,and Patriots gane to see some real american football because we are the superbowl Champions!
nightclubs: go to lansdowne street for many clubs like Avalon and Emnassy or Pravda which is posh!
Brign comfy shoes to Boston and walk alot~
Boston is know for its unstable weatherBad weather can come suddnely so bring coats and umbrealls! -dont bother going to CHEERS! waste of time. also skip the Freedom Trail itsboring. Boston overall is amazing and classy with so much to do! The Logan Airport is not so nice but dont let that fool you.Plus theya re even renovating it to look nicer now
