I find a lot of America brash, sumb and very overrated, but I love Boston. (Probably the snobbery that all us Londoner's have in-built.) In fact, I like it so much I'd be happy to move there, but why?
- I've been to loads of cities in the US and found myself screaming "I want to see a building that's over 30 years old". In Boston there are things as old as 300 years (gosh!)
- You can cycle anywhere without being fumigated. Try back Bay cycles on Newbury street, near Tower Records, for hire.
- You can walk around the place on foot - all the main tourist sites are on "The Freedom Trail" which is marked by a red brick line - dead simple to follow. If you get tired the public transport's great.
- It's all hi-tech and lawyers, loadsamoney - a bit like the Smoke really.
Not enough detail or information to rate any better than "FH".....Ken

I love Boston too, it's the only city in the USA I could even contemplate living in (not that I am planning on moving there!) Enjoyed your op, would have given a VH if you'd told us a bit more about the attractions and things to do, where to stay etc.
