Later in the week we decided to try out the tram so we bought tickets to Benidorm.

...The costa blanca is more than just Benidorm. When people get off the plane at Alicante most head for Benidorm. But Alicante has much to offer as a holiday destination. Alicante has 6 sandy beaches in all. hotels from 5 star to 1 star and cheap pensions. Also apartments near the beaches. Average temp 64f and 2,800 hours of annual sunshine. also 3 museums, a casino, 2 castles, many parks and gardens,a yacht marina and sports fields. If you like to shop theres large department stores, street markets twice a week, a large fruit and fish market in the centre of town. So as a holiday destination Alicante is a city and a seaside resort all in one....
