Botel Marina, Bratislava

I stayed at the Botel Marina for a week in February 2006. It has to be one of the most peculiar (and not just because it was a boat) hotels i have ever stayed in. Botel Marina 5*service. 2* sized rooms.

Advantages: Novelty value, Food, Staff
Disadvantages: Size of rooms. Access.

I stayed at the Botel Marina for a week in February 2006. It has to be one of the most peculiar (and not just because it was a boat) hotels i have ever stayed in.

The hotel itself was approx £50 per night for a twin room. Not the cheapest in town but by no means the most expensive. It is situated directly underneath the castle on the danube, about 2-3mins walk from the edge of the old town.

Having said this they are designed to make the most of the little space. Pleasant views out of the small windows though - one side views the danube and the new ... more
