The Bottelinos Resturant in bath is located at the top of town nearby many of the cities top resturants and bars. The Bath resturant is owned by Angelo Nicastro and was first opened in 1985. I first went to Bottelinos for a my own birthday a few years ago. I remember my mum booking it as she has been there before. Even though i was only about 12 at the time i remember the place having good food and the staff were very friendly. Since then i have been to the resturant many times and have enjoyed it everytime. The last two occasions i have been was once for a valentines meal and once again for a family members birthday.
The resturant caters for all sorts of occasions very well. When i went on valentines day it was really enjoyable. The place was set out very well. Romantic candles and flowers, the atmosphere was heavenly. I remember that everything was perfect, the music, food and the great service. Birthday occasions are great too the staff are just as friendly and they make a real effort for the birthday person, bringing out the cake, singing and making the time there very entertaining.
Menu and drinks
The resturant has a very high standard of service and you do not have to wait ages for your food. The menu is superb. The main meals range from about 7-10 pounds which some may find a little pricey but not for the quality and quanity that you receive, well worth the price! The use the finest meat and fresh foods and ingredients which gives the whole time a feel of great italian food. They have a very wide range menu including a extensive vegetarian range. It includes pizzas, pasta, salads, chicken and steak dishes.
The menu also includes a devine wine list mostly from Italy but there are also varities from South Africa, Australia and Europe. A small glass costs arond £2.95 and a large at £4.95. You can also buy at the bottle but is around £14. They also do great puddings and starters at a standard cost.
The Pad
The layout is very cosy and elegent. the resturant consists of two floors a top floor on street level and a cellar floor where the kitchen is located. Even though it is considered quite a small restuarnt there is plenty of room for booking in large numbers. When i went for a birthday there was about 20 of us seated downstairs and there was plenty of room. The have recently put a terraced area in the rear of the resturant as well adding more space. You defiantly get a real taste of Italy.
Staff
I found the staff at Bottelinos extremely helpful and entertaining. They made a real effort to satisfy you and get what you need. They are very welcoming and are very child friendly. I rememeber the waiter for our table being especially great with the small children giving them a lolli pop and making sure they were happy. This gives the adults a more relaxed feeling and they can enjoy the food without having to worry about the children.

Bottelinos has grown in branches over the years and now have a very good reputation for high standards. They have won a series of awards in the last few years, these include-
Bottelinos is definatly the best resturant i have been to. Everything is great the quality of the food and the calm, relaxed atmosphere. Every time i have been there i have enjoyed the time there and i would seriously reccomend the resturant to anyone for any occasion.
