I enjoy the Bougainvillea cafe as it is a perfect place to stop after walking and bargaining.
The cafe is all decked out in pink and the atmosphere is relaxed. It is located in a classic riad with an open space in the middle. There are also paintings and photos on the walls which are for sale.
The open middle offers air and sunshine. In the winter the cafe is heated.
The food is well priced but fairly average fare including pizzas, sandwiches and salads.
The service is good though and the cafe offers breakfast, lunch and dinner.
To get there enter the medina through Bab Ftouah and stay straight. Pass the FNAC Berbere and at the cafe is located at the end of the street.
