Me and my boyfriend stayed here a few months ago at the Breadsall Priory in derbyshire. We had a look on the interntet to see what the hotel was like and we thought it was a resonable hotel so we wasnt expecting anything spectacular, we were just going to have a relaxed weekend to get away from family and friends.

As we took a walk around the grounds we were totally amazed by the grounds sightings as they were truely amazing and gorgous and the building itself was as the original was with hardly and new construction work on it and the place itself held a wonderful history. The bar is in part of the original building and it is fantastic with all the old stone walls and fire places.

If you like golf then this is defanatly the place to go for a game, it has a great course that goes on for miles and miles and is surrounded by beautiful scenery and is very well kept, it also has a nice indoor swimming pool and jucuzzi which was very popular and they hold a range of different sports like tennis, golf and many many more to cater for all athletic needs. this was very convenient and unexpected.

But it wasnt all glamour there was some bad points that i have to point out. The first thing is that obviously some of the original building has had to be repaired with some new building and because of this the hotel itself has become a maze to get to places, you have to walk quiet along way from the entrance of the hotel to the other side to get to your room with going up and down different levels and along long corridors, my other complaints would be against the employees. no one who works here looks over the age of 18 and they werent mature and seemed to mess about when they were ment to be doing their job and were very loud.

overall we had a loverly relaxing time staying here and would go back, but we will make sure we do our own room as you will be lucky to get your room serviced when you would like it to.

Great review. Too bad about the lack of customer service then.

Hi if you don't mind me saying, maybe you could add a bit mopre, such where it actually is, what sort of price is it, what are the restaurants breakfast? like etc. If you do this, let me know, and I'll come back and re-read/rate your review. All the best Larry
