Brean or to give it its full and proper name Brean Sands is in Somerset just south of Weston Super Mare. Brean is actually a small village in Berrow, which its self is a small town just outside of Burnham on Sea. Brean itself comprises of basically 1 long road that leads in from Burnham on Sea and Berrow all the way through to a dead end at Brean Down (the other side of which is Weston Super Mare) ... ...there is sinking sand.
Brean is famous for being the place where Pontins began with their first holiday centre and unlike a lot of the Pontins parks of the past its still there. And Shane Ritchie is one of the famous former Bluecoats from this Pontins.

Brean Leisure Park.
I had the good fortune to visit this park in summer of last year whilst camping near by at Brean Sands. This was the first time we had stayed at the part of the country, but wont be the last.
Situated on the Southwest of England, about nine miles out of Weston Supermare, Leave junction 22 of the M5 head towards Burnham on sea, Brean Leisure park is situated between Brean and Berrow on the coastal road.
A very traditional feeling ... ...I haven't used the facility, Brean Leisure Park also offers holiday accommodation, from Caravans to Luxury Lodges, from the outside these really do very clean, modern and stylish, and having spoken to a few other holiday makers, they say they are just as nice in the interior.
Already considering there later this year.
Plenty of parking available to the rear of the park, and at weekends in the summer, there is a large carbootsale and market on the ...

I have been a member of the health club for 3 years now, and my review will be primarily about this. The hotel was built just over 3 years ago and is part of the De Vere Group. The leisure club is in the basement of the hotel...I say basement , it is... more
It was part business, part leisure that took me to De Vere Carden Park Hotel and Golf club this weekend for an overnight stay. I was looking forward to some rest and relaxation, having made several trips to the NW over recent weeks. I have stayed at this more
