The hotel itself is located at Willemstad (the capital of Curacao) so it?s very central. Opposite the hotel, there are a lot of very colorful buildings. If you imagine the Amsterdam Street, with narrow building along a canal (Please refer the pictures below). There?s a floating footbridge that hinges open to let boats through. But when we went there last August, the footbridge wasn?t working so there are free transfer boats to bring you to the other side of the town. The boats run frequently from early morning (about 7am) until late at night (about 11pm).
We booked on the internet for double room with the sea view. When we arrived there they shown us a twin room with the sea view and there was a dumped smell in the bedroom and the bathroom, so we weren?t happy ...
Advantages: No need for extra shaving gel! Close shave, so easy to use, and soft skin. Disadvantages: The blades are expensive, but this goes for any blades.
I used to own the Gillette Venus razor, just the 'plain jane' one, not one of the more fancy types they have now that vibrate or have 1 million blades a strip of something silky and soft. However when the Venus Breeze came out I was immediately interested in it. This razor was different. Instead of having to buy your usual shaving foam, the razor itself has a built in shave gel bar. A brilliant idea!
When I bought the Gillette Venus Breeze razor it was on offer in Boots for half price, along with the blades. This razor's full price is £7.82 in Boots, I paid about £4 for mine, back before the VAT cut. Not bad for a Gillette Venus razor, the other types also cost between the £5-£8 mark. You don't need to buy the Gillette Venus Breeze handle though to use the blades, if you already own a Gillette Venus razor, then simply buy the Breeze ...

If you are gong on holiday to this hotel I would advise you to change your booking if possible, after we looked in the Thomson Faraway Shores brochure we decided to descend on the Breezes for a number of reasons, such as the value for money, the All Inclusive package, and also having two succesful holidays in the Dominican Reopublic we decided to return, and also the pictures in the brochure make the hotel look like some sort of palace, well believe me its not, i would describe the 'hotel' as being more like a cheap hostel. There is no possible way that this hotel is a 4* as printed in the Thomson brochure, there was also talk whilst we were there that the hotel had been downgraded to a 3*, it doesnt even deserve that! I dont no were to start.
