Advantages: Fantastic safe town, with a abundance of countryside Disadvantages: Fashion affected residents
Brentwood is a large sprawling town on the edge of what is known as "Greater London". Brentwood is a very deceptive town, in respect of size. On first arrival it's easy to believe that it's a small area, but it's an enormous location split up into different districts Ingatestone, Shenfield, North Wield, South Wield, Hutton, Ingrave, Herongate and Little Warley. A very green area with plenty of woodland Brentwood is just a miniscule 20 minutes away ... ...guiding your way through them. Brentwood is far too large so I have made this a much more simplistic read.
SHOPPING
Brentwood's shopping area consists mainly of one long street not surprisingly called "The High Street" this is just over a third of a mile in length and features a variety of stores. Brentwood is not necessarily somewhere you would go to shop unless you lived on the outskirts, simply because it's very reminiscent of most high streets ...

Advantages: Mmmmmm food! Disadvantages: There's no fat free chocolate cake?!?!?
...You know when you've reached a certain age when you find yourself going for a nice meal for a friend’s birthday. Yes, I now have to admit that the years which were dominated by drinking and clubbing have gone, and a nice meal, a few bottles of vino and a chat with close friends has replaced it.
So, Good Friday just gone, bright sunshine and blue skies, daffodils lining the roads and birds singing in the trees. Spring has finally arrived. I get my glad rags on and skip along to my friend’s house and we drive out to meet the others. The venue for the night is to be Brentwood in Essex, and the restaurant - Prezzo.

Advantages: Made me realise how real the threat of nuclear war was. Disadvantages: The dummies are a bit silly!
...When we first went to visit my sister and her partner and drove around the countryside of Essex I was amazed to see the signs directing me to the ‘Secret Nuclear Bunker’. I thought this was pretty funny really – it’s hardly a secret if it’s so well signposted!
Well last weekend we down there again and we all decided to pay it a visit. Our party consisted of mom, dad, my sister Helen, her partner Richard, my partner Dave and myself.
Richard and Helen had looked on the website at www.japar.demon.co.uk for any relevant information before we left home and then off we went to Kelvedon Hatch Secret Nuclear Bunker.
To get there by car you need to be on the A128 Ongar to Brentwood road. This can be reached either by taking the M11 and then the A414 Chelmsford to Ongar road, then the A128 or by taking the M...
