Dinard is on the north coast of Brittany in France. It is small town that once was the favourite holiday destination of Queen Victoria.

If you are looking for a party holiday this is probably not for you. However if you want a relaxing time in a beautiful location then this could be juat right.

The bars are friendly and the locals are as well if you make the effort to try a little french. Tyhe food is some of the best in France and so in the world.

Eating out is an experience to be savoured and the French take hours over a meal.

The beach is clean, sandy and relatively empty and other beaches are within easy reach.

The area around Dinard is also full of beuty and suprises. A trip o Dinan (30 kms away) is well worth it as it has a street where artist own every shop. you can see painters, scultures, and even hand glass blowers at work and purchase the items they are making.

Dinard is a short drive from St Malo and a ferry from portsmouth to St Malo runs daily
