Brewers Fayre, Castle Lake, Laybourne, Kent

Yesterday was our fifteenth wedding anniversary (30/07/03). My wife and I decided to visit the Castle Lake, Brewers Fayre at Leybourne in Kent. We had been there a few times before and the service was reasonable. We thought it would be nice to treat the kids to a meal. We knew there was a play area and that, in between meals the children could play and my wife and I could chat in peace. We arrived at approximately 17.00 and ordered some drinks from the bar. we decided to go to brewers fayre, with my younger daughter who was 2 years old, we had to wait 1 hour to be seated, and then was able to sit no where near the play area, so you couldnt just leave them to play as it has an open pub there aswell. so we had to go in there with her, we ordered 3 food courses very simple fish and chips twice and childs burger and chips this took 1 hour 40 mins, and then went to the wrong table, and was cold. so we ordered again and waited 20 mins. we ate our meal and then went home. later that evening my self and my partner were severely sick all night, nearly ... more
