This is a relatively new family pub adjacent to a Travel Inn. Having visited several times, the last 3 dining experiences means we will not return. Each time at least one meal has been sent back - the last time Duck a l'orange which was still not fully defrosted, never mind cooked! The vegetables are generally microved / dried around the edges. They clearly rely on passing trade for Alton Towers which is just a few miles away, and are unlikely to get repeat business from Locals indeed, we are aware of several friends who have also had bad dining experiences at The Racecourse - a lost opportunity and certainly does nothing for the reputation of Brewers Fayre. Please note these comments refer to The Racecourse restaurant on the A50 at Uttoxeter and not the Uttoxeter [horse racing] racecourse.

This needs a lot more detailing to gain a VH, but if you re-write please let me know and I'll take another look for you. Ick to the duck not even being defrosted... RR x
