Strange Brew. What is it? Well, it?s a film about Bob and Doug Mackenzie and they are a pair of Dumbwits that are supposed to live in Canada. All they are interested in is Donuts, Beer and Hockey. They make a real stupid film and get stitched up by the brewery. That is all I am saying or I will spoil the plot for you!!! ~It?s a real old film (about 1982) and stars Rick Moranis in his early days. I really think you should watch this film if you like Canada and Hockey. Oh and Beer!!! Great quote from the film ? Take off you Hoser!?. Its hard to get hold of in UK but you can order it from special shops. Not as good as the hockey fillm Slapshot but quite funny. ...

Special Brew, eh? The creme de la creme of Tramps' Stew style beverages. If you're drinking this rather than Tennants' Super, then you're obviously a higher class of hobo.
It's not cheap, but that isn't really the point, because a pint of this stuff does things to you that normal pints will never do.
I last had this stuff when I was sixteen but boy does it stick out in my mind even today. I drank three cans and proceeded to get lost in a field. I eventually came to after being enveloped in a nightmare for nigh on three hours, by which time I'd walked into a telegraph pole. Twice.
It tastes worse than almost anything else I've ever tried. Only (a) tramps and (b) Chavs out to cause trouble, are ever going to drink this stuff habitually.
This drink doesn't deserve any stars at all. In fact I'd give it negative stars if I could. ...

Well well well .. me and the mighty Special Brew meet again and to be quite honest I'm glad theres a screen between me and the might lager as I can honestly say I've had some good times but oohhh I've definatly had some bad times on it!
The first time I ever drunk this so called lager was at the age of 15 (nearly 5 years ago) in a park close to my home. I only had £10 per week from my paper round and armed with a bottle of White Lightning and 4 cans of Special Brew I decided to take on the world.
Anyway with a bit of courage I decided I could drink all 4 cans with ease and still stand to tell the tale - I was definatly niave then!!
