This Bridgewood Manor Hotel, well I guess I should start with where it is.
The address for this hotel is: Bridgewood Roundabout, Chatham, Kent. It is situated in Walderslade and is approx. 42 miles from London Gatwick Airport and 3 miles from Chatham Train Station.

There are many things to do nearby - Chatham Dockyard is only 6 miles away, as is Rochester Cathedral. There's the infamous Bluewater Shopping Centre only 16 miles away and Leeds Castle is 10 miles away. Ideally, you would need a car to travel around but if you are only looking to explore the surrounding areas, there are a couple of buses that stop close by, and taxi's are fairly inexpensive.

Now, let's talk about what you can in the Bridgewood Manor Hotel:
This hotel boasts an excellent range of amenities including a health centre. Within this there is an indoor pool, a spa bath, a steam room and a sauna. Three spa treatments rooms offer pampering massages and beauty treatments, and the attractive inner courtyard is the perfect place to unwind over a drink. There are also tennis courts and a gym for the fitness freaks out there.
There is banqueting and conference facilities also for up to 200 people. Perfect for weddings, business conferences, parties etc.
Nearby there is a golf driving range, squash, playground and bicycle rental.

Now for the important part, the rooms!
This hotel boasts 100 guestrooms placed over 3 floors. The Rooms have traditional hotel furnishings, with darkwood furniture and coloured patterned fabrics. It's basically what you would expect from a hotel to be honest.
The rooms also have the amenities you'd expect too, cable television, direct-dial phones with voicemail, high-speed Internet connections, coffee/tea makers, shower/tub combinations and hair dryers. Iron & ironing boards are available on request as are babies cots. There's the usual complimentary toiletries, wake-up call, refrigerator, trouser press etc.

Eating:
There's a few restaurants nearby in Chatham, MAidstone and Rochester, which it would be easy to drive to, but there are always taxi's and buses.
The hotel offers a complimentary buffet breakfast for all it's guests every morning.
"Squires Restaurant" is in the hotel and serves modern English food, and a few international dishes. There is a smart/casual dress code for this.
If that isn't for you there is "Terrace Bar & Bistro" which offers snacks, meals and drinks in an informal setting. Both of these are situated within the hotel.
I found that the breakfast was delicious and there was a good variety of foods to choose from!

This is the boring stuff, policies etc. and pricing!
No pets are allowed in this hotel, and you have to have photo I.D, and a credit card/cash deposit on check-in.
Check-in time: 3pm
Check-out time: 11am.

The price is fairly expensive, £125 for a single or double room for one night between Monday and Thursday.
Friday to Sunday for B&B for a single or double room is £92.

Service:
The service I recieved was next to none, all of the staff were helpful and really polite. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. I was very satisfied with the service I recieved from this hotel, and would say that the price was definately worth it! There is so much to do in the hotel as well, I would definately recommend it to anyone thinking of staying in that area!
The Rooms are basic, bed, wardrobe, bathroom etc. but everything that comes along with it makes the package worth the money!!!
