I recently spent a day in Brighton after visiting relatives who live down that way. The 17th century lanes were a real experience. Located slightly back from the seafront, the lanes are the oldest area in Brighton and Hove and used to be a medieval fishing village. Today, the narrow lanes are made up of many quirky little shops, selling antiques, jewellery and designer labels. There are many great shops just waiting to be discovered and numerous places to eat and drink. I thought it made a nice change to the usual high street shops and large shopping malls, although I didn't buy anything because most of the items were rather expensive.

As anybody who has been to Brighton before will know, parking is a real problem. We parked by the seafront on the road which leads to the marina. Here you can park for as long as you want and it won't cost you an arm and a leg, unlike many of the car parks in the town centre.

Would have been a better review, if you could have mentioned most of the leading shop names etc, how to get to Brighton i.e Brighton train station and the travelling distance from the train station to the shopping and attractions.
