...They are many places to go and see in Trinidad and Tobago. And they are many types of foods to eat. In Trinidad and Tobago you can try "Roti", which tastes really good. You can also try "Shark and Bake", but if you don't want to try any of the island foods you can go to "KFC", "SUBWAY", "BURGER KING" "TGI FRIDAY'S" or " RUBY TUESDAY". Trinidad and Tobago is very pretty and most of the people are friendly. Things in Trinidad and Tobago are a little expensive, but you will enjoy yourself, rather you are relaxing at the beach or having drinks at the club. In Trinidad and Tobago there is no nude bathing. Advantages: Culture, cuisine and charm

...hours and all have at least a couple of days during the week when they do not open. Usually on any given day the museums you are most interested in are the ones which are closed. Several of the museums focus on Trinidad’s history and are housed in old colonial mansions; they have displays on the sugar plantations which made the area wealthy and rooms decorated and furnished in the colonial styles. There are also a couple of museums which center on the revolution; one focuses on the revolution itself with displays on how the rebels hid in the Sierra del Escambray and were helped by locals and the other centers on the counter-revolutionary movement the area in the early 1960s when those loyal to the deposed government tried to turn the tables – sadly both of these have very limited opening hours. Advantages: different Caribbean experience

...When people hear the word Caribbean, immediately pictures of women in grass skirts, white sandy beaches, cocomut trees and primitives with spears come to mind - this will be a very big surprise when it comes to visiting Trinidad. I was not aware that there was a section on this site dedicated to travel in general and came across several reviews of Tobago, but none of Trinidad. Geographically, Trinidad and Tobago are located at the southernmost end of the Caribbean chain of islands, just north of Venezuela. Politically, Trinidad has the problems of every first world nation - traffic, noise, etc. Population: Trinidad is made up primarily of Indian immigrants (too much history for this page) and African immigrants, plus a healthy section of Chinese, Syrian, American, European and Spanish people.
