we loved this zoo such alot to see in quite a small area(compared to other zoos) the attention to detail is great. They really have put alot of thought into this zoo and have made the enclosures fun ie the rats are in a kitchen running through cupboards. They have everything aquarium, butterfly area, dessert area, indoor and outdoor bat ennclosure, great views of lions, pengiuns area just like living coasts and shows to watch whilst enjoying your picnic but the only annoying thing for me is there were no elephants or giraffes :( . But apart from that a great zoo and great day out its also very flat so easy for everyone to get around. The carpark isnt great though as is quite a walk away and on the way back its all up hill and you have to pay to park which was frustrating. The good thing was we have a year pass to paignton zoo which allows us to also have free entry to bristol zoo so got in free and jumped the que. Definatly worth looking at the year pass cost us £98 for the year for myself my husband and 3 year old and gets you in free to paignton zoo, newquay zoo, bristol zoo and living coasts in torquay
