I have been going to the theatre for several years now, and Bristol Hippodrome is definately the place to go.
Over the years I have been to many theatres including Oxford Appolo and the Plymouth Royal, as well as several in the Westend, but none have compared to the Bristol Hippodrome.
It has a great atmosphere with friendly staff who are all welcoming, and the prices are very competitive.
Some of the musicals that I have seen their range from the well known Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables to the slightly less known Goodbye girl and Boogie Nights, but the shows they have here are some of the best in the world.
For those of you who tend to prefer comedians, Bristol also offers a range of the best from Roy Chubby Brown to Lilly Savage.
No matter what you want, Bristol Hippodrome provides!

Advantages: A great time and the music concert is free, It is great for anybody on any budget Disadvantages: Quite a bit of traffic around so try to get there early for parking nearby or better still leave the car at the park and ride and walk.
