I like scuba diving, taking underwater photos and building computers myself. Plus i like to modify my car. For my main job i work on big passenger jets and in my spare time i am a First Responder.

I regularly fly on bigger passenger planes then Britanna has in it's inventory due to being ground crew in the Royal Air Force for the Tristars but i can say that their smaller jets have more passenger legroom than one of our Tristars (and i usually get a row of 3 seats to myself on those ).
Having used Britanna now for the past three years on long haul fights (10 Hours) to Jamaica it is an air line i am very happy to fly with.
I can't really comment on the booking of the flights as it has always been booked at the same time as we book our holiday through Thompson which makes things easy we have always paid the little extra which was £150 per person for the permium seats as these include express check-in at the airport so no more long lines, seat back or hand held monitors, your choice of meals which you dont have to pay for on the flight plus the bar is free aswell. Now as i stated before i'm in the RAF so i know how bad seats on planes can be but these premium seats are extra wide and have a lot of extra leg room.
There was never any delays and we were always informed as to what was going on and all tanoy announcements on baord could be heard easily and clearly. As for inflight safety there has been two times that we have flown which Britannia and the captain has had to threaten that he will have to divert due to people trying to have crafty smokes on board. Even with slight mishap's likesome of the inflight entertanment tapes going missing the crew took it in thierstride.
The planes themselves are painted in the pale blue of Thompsonfly.com as they are now part of their company which in my opinion makes them look alot better than their old levery which was dark blue and white stripes. The Britannia head has now been replaced by Thompsons TUI sign.
I would recommend flying with Britannia (Thompsonfly) to anyone.

Haven't flown Brittania in years. Helpful review. Maybe just needs a little more flesh for a higher rating. Let me know if you ever edit it for re-rate purposes. :-)
