We had an early flight which wasn't a problem. Arrived well in advance of the take off time and had the usual delay with checkin. The checkin staff were gestapo like in their hunt for items not on the "acceptable" list.
I presented my tickets, handed over my luggage and started the process of checking in.
Now came the fun part. I had assumed (rightly or wrongly) that if we were on a long haul flight, we would be on a larger plane. I have called the airline in advance to check what size plane we were going on. I had specifically asked prior to booking and also during the booking period if it would be at least a DC10 or similar and hopefully if would be would a jumbo. "Yes" came the reply. So you can imagine my shock when I saw a 767 sitting at the departure gate! "bugger" I thought... no room and a very uncomfortable flight!
Boy was I right....
The setup was 2-3-2 and we managed to secure the 2 outside seats, one window and one aisle.
Food was the usual awful stuff and the flight was further spoiled by a women who decided to stand up for almost the whole flight, blocking my view of the TV screen, so no in flight entertainment for me! Her husband smiled apologetically at me, but I'd much rather he'd asked her to move or sit down!
The came the crunch... the flight crew! Oh joy of joys! I have (and I speak as someone who has taken a few flights in their time) never been served by such rude people in all my life! They came round wth the food and informed us that the dessert would be a selection of icecream from a free list or ones you could purchase. I called the attendant and asked if we could have some drinks, paying my money, she informed me they had no change, saying "I'll bring it along later". not a problem, she can't go far on a plane. Little did I know how this would put a damper on my holiday!
After over 2 hours of waiting for my change, now knowing ull well she'd managed to get change for my money due back, she totally blanked me. I openly asked her for it in the end and she said in an extremely rude manner "I haven't forgotten it and I'm not going to run of with your change". And what had I said to her which caused such a response????...... "could I order some more drinks please".... wow.... what a response I got! The drinks were literally thrown at me and the guy in the opposite seat actually said "how rude" and said he'd be makinga complaint at what he'd seen!
We arrive and had a wonderful 2 weeks, but then came the return flight!
It was even worse. Food was served cold, the aircon was so cold that everyone was feeling ill and we had some of the same crew who decided to pick on some other poor soul on the way home.
The only bonus of the return flight was I didn't have the awful woman who stood up during the flight.... she stood up in front of someone else for the whole flight!
Now for the general stuff:
Planes were clean, tidy and well looked after.
Ground crew were all in all very good.
No delays and we actually arrived 5 minutes early.
I wouldn't totally put anyone off, but I would definately think twice about flying with them!

Good review, and it sounds like the cabin crew were really terrible (I presume you complained to the airline). I do find the bit about the size of the plane confusing though. 767s and even smaller 757s are very common on long haul flights between lower traffic destinations. The 767 is a widebody plane and classed as a "heavy", so really you wern't lied to when you asked about what type of plane you would get. The, larger version, the 767-300 is infact of similar size to the DC10, a type now no longer in use on passenger routes due to its age, in many cases they actually replaced DC10s. Overall, I'd have thought it better to comment on things like legroom and seat size rarther than the size of the plane, since I expect the former is of much more interest to passengers.
