The Brittania Hotel is right bank in the centre of the city, well almost. It is within a few yards of the main bus terminus and the Arndale centre which provedes plenty of shops if not the attraction that Trafford Park now is.
As a hotel it is comfortable and the food, although not out of the ordinary, is passable. However, it is a bustly sort of hotel with plenty of comings and goings. It certainly will not be a favourite of those of more mature years because of the noise and milling people. For some reason there always seems to be busy goings on around the foyer area.
It is quite a popular hotel because its rates are reasonable, particularly if you can get a deal. Do not be too shy to ask for special offers or weekend breaks. But be prepared to stay up late because the hotel has its own disco and is popular particularly with the youngsters.
