I have flown witn British Airways many times, both long haul and within Europe, and have found their service to be first class. The staff will go out of their way to make sure that you are happy with their service. They are seemingly always helpful, cheerful and polite - even in economy! An elderly relative of mine, who is quite demanding, was escorted from check-in right through to her seat. The company seems to have the right idea; to treat the customer with respect and importance. The slight premium on ticket prices seems to be worth it for the thoroughly professional and convenient service offered. The recent restructuring should provide a company that can cater right across the board at a cost that will provide good value for money. Despite the perceived image of being very expensive it would seem that they are often cheaper than their Low Cost rivals!
