I have always enjoyed traveling on British Airways. When traveling to England from Canada, it is my first choice of available airlines, and it always makes me feel that the vacation starts with the plane ride.
The seat back t.v. screens are a nice touch--it's nice to have the unobstructed view and the choice of what to watch.
The food is decent--on the good side of what you'd expect. The wine is also decent, although they serve the red wine chilled for whatever reason.
The service is friendly both in the plane and on the ground. I once had some scheduling trouble catching a connecting flight, and they sent me a cheque that covered the re-arranging expenses I incurred as a result. When I got married, they gave my husband and me champagne.
