I flew out through Heathrow Terminal 5 in April 2012 to Brussels.

It was my first time flying with BA and I had high expectations for it. The Terminal, exclusively for BA passengers was exquisite but the aircraft was a tad bit disappointing. It wasn't even the fact that it was small(understandable since it is a short flight) but the seats weren't kept clean in my opinion. There were bits of crumbs on the seats and the magazines in the seat pockets were goey and sticky!
Having heard previously that BA is notorious for cancelling flights due to strikes and so forth, there were no delays whatsoever, hence I was rather satisfied.
Since it was a short flight, the flight attendants were prompt and considerably efficient. They were polite but a smile with service would be nice in my opinion. If you happen to consider that an important aspect, then thats a mark down for BA. Food was not too bad as well. However, despite saying all this, I would think it was a good flight. Afterall, I suppose thats what we're paying for, - to arrive at our destination.
