This whole fiasco of abandoning Air Miles in favour of BA miles is a joke.

What I'm currently whinging about is the fact that it doesn't seem to matter how far I fly, I can't seem to get my membership upgraded to Silver status. According to the web site I actually have enough *miles* to get to Australia! I don't actually believe that ('cos I do quite a lot of flying to the states - although I'm not sure that ) but I still don't have enough *points* to get the card upgrade. Which has annoyed me this evening because I tried to get into the business lounge at Munich this evening and got turned away because I'm only Blue status, even though I was travelling business class.

It's been suggested that I update my opinion - yes, I have finally got my Silver status! Hmmm, need to persuade my boss that I should go back to Munich ;-)

And yes, the trip to Oz could be on the cards...
