Maybe i am biased as we own a caravan on this site, but after spending a few holidays here, we just wanted to be part of such a great park.
Anyhow back to the park, Greenacres was originally a fantastic holiday park with everything you could possibly need on site,
It had loads for the children to do , they have clubs like the Rory club for the really tiny ones, then Bradley's club for the over 4's , they even cater for the over 14's so even the ones with older children get a break.
Once on site you see the reception area, which is very spacious, and the staff are very helpful,
The have a recently refurbished on site shop, which you can buy everything you will need for either a few days or even a weeks holiday, from bread and milk, to wine and beers, if you need a last minute present and the gift shop is closed you can even buy Rory & Bradly gifts, plus many more.
They used to have a pool side bar that served food, and an over 18's bar, where no children were allowed, and you could smoke in this bar too,
But everything has changed they refurbished the entire complex over the winter the over 18's bar has gone as in wales the no smoking ban came into force on the 1st April,
Instead of the pool side bar they now have a 200 seater pool side restaurant and grill bar, with plasma screens, and a vast choice of beers and wines.
The ropeworks that used to be alongside the pool area has been demolished and the pool has been extended to allow for the aqua jets and aqua dodgems that they have now.
They also have a toddler pool, this is just for non swimmers, and parents with small children.
The entertainment complex itself is massive, with lots of slot machines, and air hockey games, pool tables, they even have the 2p machines that we have all played on when we were little.
Inside the complex there is a Burger King, so even when your hungry you don't have to stop the fun,
During the day there are various events in the tiger club, this is where Rory and Bradley meet up with the children, and play games, and even have stories,
But every night they have games, and prizes, they play bingo for those who enjoy a game,
But most of the children enjoy the magical parade, this is when Rory, Bradley and all their friends say goodnight to all the children.
All the children get invited to join in the parade around the club waving goodnight the everyone, then off they go to bed.
Once the parade has finished the evening entertainment commences, this can vary from a singer to a group performance,
Overall i really enjoyed my holidays on this site, the caravans that Haven rent out are of a certain quality they range from Gold, which comes with a microwave and early check-in to Bronze which is very basic, but has a late check-in, Our caravan is a gold, but every time we have booked with Haven we have not been disappointed.
I would recommend this caravan holiday park to everyone, especially as you can pick up great deals from Haven themselves or from private owners on the site.
Ok so you may not be guaranteed the weather. but you are guaranteed a fantastic holiday every time.

Advantages: Nice clean accomodation, excellent kids entertainment, good offers avaliable out of season Disadvantages: price of 'extras', drinks and in the shop are expensive, beach can be unaccessable until afternoon and is a steep climb down from the park, hard with toddlers/prams.
