Well i would not advise anyone to travel with Brittish MIdland unles you want your flights changed at the last minute without little notice my mother who is Termanily ill has paid for myself and my tree sisters and my daughter plus herself to go to Jersey with British Midlands next Saturday and the times of the flight really suited her due to the fact that she is ill and only when we reicieved the tickets and we checked them, we found out that the times of the flight had been changed. On the way going it is not much difernce but on the way back our flight was changed to 8:30am which means a 5am rise to get to the airport which was not suitable for my mum. So on contacting Thomas Cook whom the holiday was booked with were most helful and disgusted by BMidlands found out that the flight was still on but the our seats had been given to someone else. And were not for offering us any other flight. There was seats on other planes which would have ment us traveling seperate but they were business class and were not on offer to us. So in the end up my mum and sister have to travel back to Edinburgh on the way home so that my mum can travel at a later time. The rest of us will catch the early flight and have beenwill be given £40 compensation which was not wanted as we are all on holiday toghther as a family, which has casued mum a great deal of upset due to BMidlands lack of customer care, and which it may be her last holiday with all of her children, and how a big company can get away with that is rediculas.
