British Midland offers from time to time several web deals on flights. I have managed to fly from Glasgow to London (return) for GBP 19.00 only. The service was as always good, there were no delays and you are not chucked down to the end of the plane nor did staff ignore you because you were on a cheap deal. In a world where the web brings you such good deals, to miss them is very silly indeed. When you need to fly make sure you check direct with the airlines first via the web. British Midland have a great website and you can buy your tickets online provided you have a major credit card.
