I have just travelled to Leeds/Bradford for the weekend on BMI.
Arrived at Heathrow T1 at 7.45am for an 8.55am flight. The queues were the longest I have seen for domestic departures at Heathrow - but only for BMI. As queued for a very long time, but reassured by the staff there was no problem with time for my flight and I would be called to jump the queue nearer the time. They kept telling me this until half an hour before departure time. Eventually I ignored their reassurances and jumped the queue. The supervisor at the head of the queue was OK about this but still told me not to worry as my flight had not been called. She then took me to a check-in desk - they promptly told me the flight was closed as it was 20 minutes before departure. I was furious, as were the 15+ people in the same situation. Not very professional. Next time I will travel with BA as they have the electronic check-in facilities. I was compensated £50 cash that morning - but missed my family wedding in Yorkshire. Not much compensation.
Only rated FH, sorry.Perhaps a re-write could include other details such as how flight was, cabin crew,baggage reclaim etc... Would be happy to re-rate. Good Luck!

Nasty experience and compensations not much good for missing a wedding - but to get a higher rating you need much more info such as cost, booking procedure etc- if you update let me know and I will be happy to rerate.
