Brooke

Advantages: Great plot, gripping
Disadvantages: Ghost writer, Short

's mind to wander about who her mother could be and if she will ever come back for her. Brookes pride and joy at the Orphanage is that she is amazing at athletics. From running to bat and ball she is in her element. However when she is finally adopted by Peter and Pamela Thompson her sporting skills are far from the families mind. Thrown into a life of luxury Brooke is soon to learn that her new father Peter is a well known wealthy lawyer and Pamela is best described as a trophy wife. Pamela is a reining beauty queen whose life consists of nothing but a strict timetable of moisturizing, washing and constant etiquette. Being the perfect host whenever she is awake even if only to the workers around the house. Of course Peter doesn't help her by pandering to her every whim whether that be things she desires or just getting her way. Enrolled ...

Tunbridge Wells:Royal Spa

Advantages: Varied architecture.Elegant shops. Green open spaces
Disadvantages: Lack of night life

Royal Tunbridge Wells,to give it its official name,is a elegant Spa town, long renowned for its "medicinal" chalybeate -non-impregnated- spring waters. It is also famous for its colonnaded Pantiles precinct, which today houses antique shops, genteel English tea rooms, jewellers, book stores and furniture shops. Just north of the Pantiles,Chapel Place is a quiet and very picturesque pedestrianised area replete with small specialist shops. This leads into the High Street with shops selling designer clothes, home furnishings, oriental rugs, gifts and fine arts. Mount Pleasant, the more "modern" part of the town is another good shopping area. The Wells is also renowned for its parks and 250 acre common which stretches to within a stone's throw of the town centre. Then there are the denuded high rocks such as Eridge Rocks,Toad Rock and the High Rocks ...

Review of Tunbridge Wells (England)

Give Castle Lodge the Dodge

Advantages: A historical building
Disadvantages: disappointing and spoilt by the owners

CASTLE LODGE It was a family day out in Ludlow and whilst I was sitting resting on the bench, waiting for my hubby to return from checking the car and the parking fees, I noticed this really old Tudor style house opposite and on closer inspection discovered that it was open to the public. We didn?t go in straight away, but I did drop a big hint like, ?I want to go in there before we go home? to the family, so that they would not be surprised after the visit to the castle that we went in here. After we had a lovely lunch in the café situated next door to the lodge after a amazing trip around the castle. We were all in high spirits and enjoying our food and refreshments, I dropped the bombshell that I wanted to see the house, they did try to dissuade me as they were now getting slightly tired and wanted to do a little retail ...
