I am a part time athlete and aspiring Olympian. I also work with some friends, renovating houses to sell. In my spare time I love to watch movies, play video games and socialise. I'm a bit of a gadget freak an film buff, typical guy I guess!

Brownes is probably my favourite of Hockley's bars. Combining a modern, stylish interior, with plush leather seating and soft lighting, and a good range of drinks, including a fairly extensive cocktail menu. Food is also served and it is of a good standard and reasonably priced.
I like Brownes as it has a relaxed atmosphere, and serves food. For me it offers a good destination for a relaxed lunch as well as a good night-time hangout. Drinks are competitively priced and the vodka and schnapps selection is especially good. The food is also good, a mix of baguettes, burgers and more substantial meals. All in all Brownes, though not the cheapest of Hockley's bars, provides good value for money, as the food and drinks are of good quality and served in plush, stylish surroundings.
