The Hotel De Tuilerieen is very conveniently situated by the river and close to the main tourist areas of Bruge so you are able to walk to all the sites. We fell in love with this hotel-its quite small but our room was large with two double beds and traditional Belguim furniture. Perfect break

Advantages: Location, Service, Quality

...had misread the email from Best Western and had only reserved a double room rather than a family room. She couldn't stop apologising and offered to put an extra bed in our room. To be honest that was all we expected when booking a triple room. This was dealt with immediately and a porter was dispatched. A WOnderful stay at B&B Yasmine!

Advantages: warm, welcoming and inviting hostess; clean and well presented rooms
Disadvantages: no full length mirror in our room

Location: Yasmine B&B is in a great location as it's only a few minutes walk from great restaurants (although great restaurants are dotted all over Bruges) and even better only a couple of minutes from some good bars/pubs situated right on the canal. Friendliest hotel in town

Advantages: Cheap, friendly staff, great food

Bad Experience at Hotel Leeuwebrugghe

Disadvantages: Lots

...Bruges.We arrived at the 3star hotel after a difficult journey from Inverness (that's another story!) at about 6pm.Upon entering the hotel we were greeted by the strong aroma of DOG and stale cigarette smoke. We have nothing against dogs or smokers per se but it was not a good start!Our 'room' was on the first floor up a very steep stair. The room contained 2 twin beds and en-suite bath, wash basin and toilet - all as originally booked.We were shocked ...
