Five Star Luxury Hotel Advantages: Walking distance to the fashionable shopping district of Avenue Louise. Disadvantages: A long walk to the Grand Place where many eating places are based. This impressive hotel located on the Avenue Louise was close to Brussels' most fashionable shopping district. The 5 star Hotel Bristol Stephanie is ideally situated for both business and leisure travellers. The hotel offers 142 spacious bedrooms (Classic and Executive), a restaurant « Le Chalet d'Odin », a bar « Stefany's », conference and banqueting rooms, a fitness centre and an underground parking. A great base for exploring Brussels Advantages: Great location, comfortable rooms, excellent food Disadvantages: Expensive if not arranged as part of a package I recently spent a weekend at this hotel on a budget break I'd arranged through lastminute.com. I must say I was incredibly impressed by the standard of the hotel for something that I had paid so little for. The location is perfect. The hotel is situated on Place de Grande Sablon - home of the famous Sablon antique market at the weekends. The architecture of the surrounding area makes this an Art Nouveau lover's paradise. 5 star luxury for 3 star price Advantages: luxurious, great value, top service, Disadvantages: a little far out from the main square Renaissance hotel Rue du Parnasse 19 Brussels, 1050 Belgium This 5 star Renaissance hotel was outstanding value for money! Location The renaissance hotel is located in the European quarter of the city. This is fairly quiet on weekends with the European parliament and surrounding offices being closed. No Customer Care Advantages: Clean Disadvantages: In the middle of sex shops and aopposite a seedy all night club ...for 3 nights at this hotel Thursday Friday and Saturday as a treat for my husbands Birthday, I phoned on the Monday before our travel, and asked if there was anything special that they could recommend to make our stay extra special as it was my husbands birthday, they suggested that I could have flowers, fruits, chocolates and champagne waiting in our room for our arrival, and all they needed in advance was an email stating our expected date and ... ...with this being a 5* hotel that everything would be ok. Well Arrived at hotel little after our expected arrival time checked in got to room NO chocolates NO champagne. A really Good Hotel for a Really GOod Price Advantages: Excellent location, remarkable value for money Disadvantages: May have to book in advance to get a good deal ...one night at the Best Western Premier Carrefour De L'Europe in October 2005. I got a really good price of 80 euros a room for 2 people including breakfast - particularly cheap when you consider it is Brussels. The hotel is ideally situated on the Grand Place - my room overlooked this - which is the main square in Brussels. It is also just around the corner from Central Station which has frequent links to the airport.
