BA Stop , great Hostel in Buenos Aires
Advantages: Great place for few money Disadvantages: none
Loved this hostel! Great atmosphere to meet people and have a good time without being a “party hostel”. You can have fun and have a good sleep at night. It’s “super” clean, has perfect location (close to a lot of "must see" spots and restaurants) and the staff is very helpful and friendly.
• Av. de Mayo: 1 block
• Av. Corrientes 4 blocks
• Plaza del Congreso 4 blocks
• Obelisco: 4 blocks
• Plaza de Mayo 5 blocks
• Av. 9 de Julio: 1 block
• Calle ... ...blocks

Lime House Hostel, reasonable but unspectacular
Advantages: Cheap, friendly and huge roof area Disadvantages: noisy and a little run down
Lime House is a popular hostel on Calle Lima near the intersection of 9 de Julio and 25 de Mayo in the centre of Buenos Aires. I recently stayed here for around a month-although i don't mean to imply that the relatively long stay in one hostel means it was fantastic, i was just too lazy to move! The hostel is in a great location for sightseeing as Plaza de Mayo is a 10 minute walk away and there is access to the other main tourist areas via the metro ... ...Palermo, quite far from the Lime house, and as the subway stops at around midnight the taxis to get to and from going out can become a hefty cost if you party out a lot. First arriving in the hostel there is a fairly large common room with a reception/bar. The area can be a little dark as it has no windows but is welcoming and there are often other backpackers wandering around. Off this room is a pool (billiards, not swimming!) room and a enclave ...

Hotel Madero Not the best Location In Buenos Aries
Advantages: Waterfront ,Modern , walking Distance to Cafe and Restaurants Disadvantages: Characterless Area , with a lot of Modern looking Apartments and Hotels
...stay is Recoleta. The Hotel itself is a Sofitel and is very good , it is an upmarket Hotel but for the price you pay you can get better and Cheaper in a nicer area , (I have stayed in 3 star hotels here that give just as good a service and rooms are equally as nice) I could not fault the rooms or the service, it is Modern /Contemporary . Restaurants good but you can eat better and Cheaper in the restaurants around Town. Clothes are cheaper than Europe ... ...just walk out of your Hotel and you are there in the midst of the Magic of Buenos Aries ,its a Magnificent place , with Great Restaurants, fantastic Steaks prices of which are very reasonable both in the Hotels and numerous restaurants .The only downside to this Hotel is its Location everything else was pretty much what you would expect from a 5 star Hotel . ...

Not really fit for an emperor
Advantages: Great position, huge rooms and bathroom Disadvantages: Little storage in bedrooms and food and drink VERY expensive
The hotel is on the Avenida del Libertador in the Recoleta district of Buenos Aires and is situated within walking distance of most areas in Buenos Aires and is close to the main railway station. The entrance is modern looking with gold revolving doors and there is at least one doorman at all times to welcome you in. The lobby is quite spacious and very well appointed, there are flower arrangements on tables which are fresh and look welcoming. The ... ...to the hotel and they will also change money at a reasonable rate here. On the right hand side is an open looking bar with comfortable seats and tables. At the back of the hotel, through the lobby is the restaurant which is actually quite small for the size of hotel. This is where we had our breakfasts but we did not eat in the hotel other than breakfast.
On the first night we arrived at about 10pm and decided we would have a drink in the bar before ...

Comfort in Buenos Aires
Advantages: Friendly staff, clean rooms Disadvantages: Small lift, awful scrambled eggs
The Kempinski Hotel is ideally located in the centre of Buenos Aires. You are within walking distance of numerous cafes, restaurants, shops, the metro, bus stops and many of the main attractions.
It is a small boutique hotel with friendly, competent staff who are happy to help you out.
We stayed in the hotel for 6 nights and were very happy with the place.
The hotel, is like many others in BA tall and narrow - the lifts barely fit two people, ... ...room - it is far easier than getting stuck doing it yourself.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable - you get a sofa and an en-suite as well as a huge double bed. The room is air conditioned - a must in summer as it is so hot outside. There is cable TV with lots of random English speaking channels - so you can watch movies in English - great if you don't speak Spanish!
Breakfast is served downstairs in the restaurant - watch out if you walk in ...
