    For possibly the best burger in New York head to one of the best kept secrets - the Burger Joint in the Parker Meridian Hotel. The Burger Joint is an address for those in the know and it is a well hidden room in the lobby of this hotel concealed behind a black curtain. you almost feel you need a password to enter, but when you disappear behind the curtain its another world. A small room with a few booths and tables the menu is short and to the point but fab - hamburger or chesseburger, fries, milkshakes, soda, water or beer. but for around $15 bucks a meal its a bargain for a real New york ... more
