However not all was as it seemed. We either had to walk across a muddy, slippery slope and through a hedge to get to our caravan, or we had to walk down the slope and back round the other side - Both options not convenient for 2 elderly people. When we eventually reached our caravan we were very disappointed. It seemed very small, especially the lounge area. Out of all the caravans we have been to this was the smallest.
The entertainment was of the usual haven standard, the show bar and the restaurant were very modern.

Back to the car-park, bus waiting outside, although why people insist on standing next to the exits when their are plenty of seats available I really fail to understand, and we were away - 10 minutes back to the M4, and off to see if the London service stations stayed open later than the outbacks of Somerset and Wiltshire - sorry the answer is NO. - although we did manage to really upset the staff at BurgerKing in Reading who had packed up at 9.15pm, despite the fact that they don't close until 10pm, by ordering a meal and disassembling their nicely stacked chairs and tables - whatever happened to meeting the needs ...
Advantages: Lots to do, rides seldom break down, something for everyone. Disadvantages: Big queues for some rides, tickets rather pricey, especially for kids
's also a season pass priced at £75, which may be worth getting if you plan to visit more than once in a year. You receive unlimited access to the park for that year, plus 20% discount on all goods in the park, including food (but not concessions like BurgerKing), merchandise, and even on hotel bookings and waterpark tickets! I have a pass and I've found it really useful.
