Travel Coventry aint too bad...
Review of Travel West Midlands (Coventry) by ROCKYRICARDO

Advantages: Always get there, get there for a good price.
Disadvantages: not yet 100% reliable on times, but not there fault.

As an employee for travel west midlands and working at travel Coventry, I will be telling my thoughts feelings and experiences. Cleanliness I have read the other reviews on the subject and I would agree with all of them. The busses do smell from time to time and are often untidy. The fact of the matter in the cleanliness concern is due to the passengers just as much as the staff. How many passengers get on and leave all of there food wrappings and ...
...my own opinion think that Travel West Midlands and there surrounding transport companies are doing as bad of a job as people make out. They are providing a service that 1000s upon 1000s of people need and use regardless of weather they like it or not and I think they are doing well. Ok so things can be improved, but they are trying. My last comment to anybody who doubts them is: why don't you try and cater for the needs and desires of over 200 thousand ... Read review

Could show some other operators a thing or 2
Review of Yorkshire Coastliner by marcla

Advantages: Reasonable fares, Good quality vehicles, reliable
Disadvantages: Journeys to the coast start in Leeds

I use Yorkshire coastliner services about 4 times a year mainly travelling west from York to Leeds. The company This company is run by one of those chain companies (Blazefield holdings), which also run companies such as Harrogate/ Keighly and district, Coastliner has a policy of using a new fleet of vehicles, for passenger comfort and reliability. The routes are: 840 Leeds York Whitby every 2hours 842 Leeds York Thornton Dale every 2 hours ...
...the same route from Leeds to Malton Bus depot (where the company is based) before branching out in their respective directions. THere is also another route that they run which is less frequent the 845 from leeds to Bridlington. My oppinion The times i have used them i have always found the bus has been reasonably on time, Bearing in mind that the core part of the routes are along the A64 which as anyone who uses this road will know that it can ... nakedbus is cheaper than Intercity
Review of InterCity Coachlines & Newmans Coachlines, New Zealand by norman68

Advantages: Frequency, coverage
Disadvantages: Price

Intercity are too expensive - nakedbus.com is cheaper. Both companies take the same time with the same number of comfort stops and the buses are essentially the same. The only difference is that Intercity have more times and destinations - e.g. when Intercity have a bus every day, nakedbus will only have one every few days, or on the routes that naked bus have a bus every day, Intercity will have several. But the price difference is astonishing. ...
...Basically they seem to have the same pricing as megabus in the UK. I can see how the original reviewer would have thought that Intercity offer excellent value - coming from the UK, everything in New Zealand probably seems cheap! But when you compare Intercity's fares to nakedbus cheap fares... ... Read review

Arriva
Review of Arriva North Wales by evertonsno1

Advantages: Good Bus route to university
Disadvantages: Horrible Buses, that smell and that are old.

Arriva is the worst bus company in the uk. Its buses are disgusting, and it needs to be reviewed by the government. Almost every bus has a unique smell, whether its alcohol, cigerettes or urine, which is horrible when you have to go on the bus at 9.30 in the morning and sit in the freezing cold because the heaters don't work. some of the seats are wet, and the floor is usually full of water, even upstairs due to the condensation dripping from the ... Friendy and Efficent - so long as you book!
Review of Scottish Citylink Buses by Essan

Advantages: Punctual; friendly, helpful staff
Disadvantages: Adviseable to book in advance

Scottish Citylink operate most of the long distance coach routes in Scotland, many of which also double as local bus services with passengers allowed to purchase tickets on board. This can present a problem - more of which below. As far as comfort goes, a coach is a coach and these are no better or worse than any others. Most coaches have an onboard toilet and on longer routes there is usually at least one stop of 5-10 minutes for a toilet/smoke ...
...found them to be very punctual - perhaps surprising considering the vagarities of road traffic, although their timetables do take into account the likelihood of slightly longer journey times at busy periods of the day. Staff in my experience are mostly friendly and helpful. In most cases they're also happy to drop you off more or less where you request, even the middle of nowhere! Likewise, in rural areas, they will pick up more or less anywhere. ... Read review
