Hi, I'm back
I've been reading through my old opinions and i'm a bit shocked at how terrible they were, only wrote a couple of paragraphs. Can i pretend they were by someone else until i get time to update them? lol

When I think of my childhood, the memories of Red Coats, Bumper Cars and an outdoor swimming pool come to mind. Going to the beach, and staying in a little chalet with my family. My parents have been taking us kids to Butlins every year since before I was born. First Filey and then Skegness. It was THE place to go.
By the time I was 16, I went through the usual teenage phase of not going on family holidays, but my family still continued to go with my little brother, niece and Nephews. The kids still love going there.
In February, my niece finally convinced me to go back to my old childhood haunt and so I spent five days of the half term holiday back at Butlins Skegness and it changed so much I almost didn’t recognised it. Accommodation has improved drastically, the mini homes that used to be the most expensive are now standard and you are not squashed into a tiny garden shed anymore. All the main amenities have been placed under a pavilion so you are sheltered from the rain and the new cinema is cheap but still shows pretty recent films. The boat slide in the swimming pool (Splash) is so great I went on seven times and the whirlpool, wave pool and volcano Jacuzzi are still as great as I remember them. There is also an amusement park (The Bumper cars are still there! Yeah!) but there’s less rides then they used to be, probably due to the Pleasure Beach theme park that opened near by. There is also a great emphasis still placed upon Children’s entertainment, will shows on constantly and even more entertainment during the summer.
If I wanted a cheap, great value for money holiday for young children, Butlins is still the place I’d go, just watch out for the Red Coats because they are all fame wannabes and are not as helpful as they used to be. So if you don’t want to go abroad and want to keep the children happy without having to smash open a cash machine with a sledgehammer, this is the place to go.
You want proof, my sister got promoted and offered to take the kids to Disney Land. They refused to go, and went to Butlins instead! What more proof can I give you.

I know, given the choice between DisneyLand Paris and Skegness, I'd chose Skeggers anyday.
Given the choice Between DisneyLand Florida and Skegness. Sorry. Florida Oranges every time.
From your opinion it just goes to show just how much effort Butlins are putting into improving their service.

Advantages: Great fun, lots to do, well themed, brilliant location, very atmospheric Disadvantages: Expensive on site, get fat from all the drinking and junk food.
