For anyone who thinks Butlins in full of children and is put off, an andult only weekend could be your thing.
The entertainment was great, complex itself was not too busy. (as it was mid september) we had no distance to travel after having a few too many lemonades! just stumbled back to our room. This was very basic, but clean all the same.
The price of the break was reasonable, had to ring the booking line as there was a problem with the website. (this was to our advantage as it was cheaper than quoted on website!)
Staying half board can save some money. Although you have to eat within set times(getting up in time for breakfast can be difficult after all those lemonades!) It does get busy and food choice's can be limited.
On the whole quite a cheap short break. within easy walking distance to a beach, so you have the option of staying on the complex or exploring elsewhere.

Advantages: Great fun, lots to do, well themed, brilliant location, very atmospheric Disadvantages: Expensive on site, get fat from all the drinking and junk food.
