We took the kids for a quick half-term break to Skegness. If you love queuing and standing this is the place for you. Every venue is too small for the amount of people, we have spent the last three days standing at every cafe or entertainment place, it was an absolute nightmare! There is a culture whereby some people get to the venues early and sit tight for the entire day leaving no opportunity for the rest of us to enjoy any of the entertainment.
The kids have enjoyed some of the activities but not enough to justify the expense and the standing around involved. The chairs in the main Skyline Pavilion are cheap plastic garden one's so it is particularly irritating to see how few are provided for such large crowds.
An example of the mentality, one show featured a performing dog, it was sickening to see an animal humiliated for so called entertainment, at one stage the dog had his ears fastened with elastic bands in order to get a laugh. My kids were very upset to see an animal being treated like this, but everyone else appeared to enjoy it immensely.

Shame it does not sound good , hope you got some weather that was not wet .
