I think Butlins is a fantastic holiday for young children however not so good for teenagers. There is plenty of entertainment including character appearances, shows, swimming pool and early evening entertainment for children. There is also later evening entertainment for adults. The accommodation is not great, but most of it in Bognor is being knocked down and rebuilt so should improve in the next few years. I would recommend staying in the hotel or the gold accommodation now though. I have not eaten in the half board restaurants however have been told its very good but I prefer self catering option. The local area is also nice, small town of Bognor only 5 minutes walk away with some shops, pubs and the beach. Chichester is also only half an hour away.

Advantages: Great fun, lots to do, well themed, brilliant location, very atmospheric Disadvantages: Expensive on site, get fat from all the drinking and junk food.
