BUZZ BAR:
Everytime I've been there, I've had loads of fun! If you're going with a group of friends, get there for about 8pm. That way you'll have time to have a few drinks before the dance floor opens. I've only been there on Fridays and Saturdays and each time it's only been £2 entry fee! Bargain! You pay at the counter on the left as you enter the venue. If you have any excess items, there ... ...is always playing at the Buzz Bar ranging from your classic old skool tunes to the latest dance floor anthems. With House, garage, rnb etc being played too! Advantages: Cheap drinks and entrance, good music, finishes early Disadvantages: sleazy men
...place in Leicester square, the Buzz Bar. Its quite hard to find and isnt a well known place, this is where the Londoners hang out. If you come out of Leicester Sq station, walk past the Hippodrome and Equinox and when you see the big MacDonalds on the corner, turn left down a small side street. You will see 'Buzz Bar' lit up (it's next to a hotel and the Gass Club). It cost only £2 to get in and £1 per item for the cloakroom. Inside there are 2 bars, ... ...this is when other clubs start to get really busy and right next door is the Gass Club.
I reccommend going to the Buzz Bar on Fridays and Saturdays, as this is when it is at their busiest and best. It is a fun night and I'm sure you'll return! ...

Buzz Bar in Leicester Square is great. It's quite a big place with a large bar area upstairs and an equally sized area for dancing, downstairs. There's an even mix of males and females here, mainly youngsters. I went there on a weekend and there was a real "party" atmosphere around the whole place. It's quite trendy like the rest of Leicester Square. You'll find people of all nationalities here, many of them tourists from abroad or from out of town. ... ...probably a bit cheesy for you if you like to go clubbing a lot. They tend to play a selection of Dance music and party tracks. On my trip to the loo some guy sprayed me with aftershave then tried to charge me a quid. Be careful! Your chances of pulling here are pretty high with loads of hot girls (and blokes for the girls!) who are very keen to chat with you. A friendly place. I'd certainly recommend it. ...

Advantages: Very very cheap drinks (Vodka +red bull only 1 Euro) Disadvantages: Smells a little like sewage, having to pay 2 Euro's for the sun loungers
...they have had. Everyone out there advised me to stick to bottles of alcohol. They are safe. By no means, the vodka will not kill you, but excessive drinking may lead to you feeling ill for a couple of days. I didnt feel like drinking a drop during those days. I recomend the LondonBar and the Buzzbar (Ask for Emiliano and Harris - they are excellent guys).
There are so many bars, that some show the newest movies, football matches and even Eastenders everyday. If you felt like chilling out before you go and hit the bars, you can go watch a movie.
The beach is quite nice. There are plenty of bars and clubs along the beach side that open in the evening as well as places to buy a drink during the day. The sun was baking hot during September so i cant imagine what i would have been like during peak time (July). the worst thing is paying 2 Euros...

Advantages: Brilliant Food, Lurverly Atmosphere Disadvantages: Trying to get a table
..., to be honest I would have paid 6 squids for a lot less rice it was that good. The boys all enjoyed their green curries which were served with an extreamly generous portion of white rice which was steamed to perfection (and tasted really good with some fish sauce and chillis, which you will need to request if you want it - but it is at no extra cost).
When the very non-thai Irish gov'na came along to collect the plates he was very pleased with the lack of washing up that needed to be done, our plates were almost licked clean, I think the boys would have tried to lick the plates clean if they could have gotten away with it!
The bar itself is really nice and atmospheric, even for a Tuesday night it was ram-a-jammed (used it again!) and had a really nice buzz about it, there were plenty of what appeared to be regulars sitting at the bar, London...

Advantages: Beautiful setting in a buzzing part of London Disadvantages: Not suitable for disabled people - no lift
...The Ashley Hotel is a superb, well-priced B&B hotel in a gorgeous location in central London. It is situated in Norfolk Square, Paddington, and is just 2 minutes walk from Paddington station.
Paddington itself is a buzzing district of London adjacent to the West End, and is packed full of shops, restaurants, bars etc. Norfolk Square is an oasis of tranquility amongst this. It is a square (obviously) of tall, elegant Victorian mansions, all of which have been turned into budget hotels.
The hotels are painted white and cream, and have tall windows and beautiful old railings outside. In the centre of them all is a railed garden. Obviously, it was once a place of residence for people of means in the Upstairs-Downstairs tradition. The Ashley Hotel comprises 3 mansions made into one, and has 50 (I think) rooms.
The reception...
