In order to relieve congestion at he major London Terminii I suggest that with the next stage of franchises there be major changes to The North London Line so that trains from Southend may serve other major cities. Trains could reach Watford, Birmingham and the North West. The new trains offer speed and comfort when they work. Give the trains a chance and let us have have a more integrated rail system. Other train operators sould also use the Southend line thereby encoraging greater mobility.
A rail link a Dartford would also be welcome again to reduce pressure.
