...Situated on Mill road in northern Cambridge, CB1 and CB2 symbolise independent cafes in Cambridge. A regular customer at Starbucks or Cafe Nero would hopefully see the differences on entering this establishment. A wealth of books upstairs and down that can be picked up and read at your own leisure or bought, much more of a relaxed environment and roughly same vareity of drinks available at a cheaper price.

Wooden floor and furnishings, quiet music and an abundence of books and a few comfy sofas, for the lucky people able to get them first. Everyone seems to come here at one time or another, all age groups, students and suits. People are generally happy to join tables and have a chat. If entering in a big crowd there is a large table downstairs.

Advantages: Seeing the real Cambridge. Disadvantages: It is a little run-down. Mind your wallet!

This centre provides a wide and yet vibrant programme for contemporary touring theatre. There are many exciting classes and workshops for both children and adults. It is a fun place to explore.
