...a good hotel in beijing i think ,the charge is not very expensive ,good service and it is convienent to get many famous place from hotel,very capacious and bright room,good service facilities,the workers can give you a excellent help and they are always ready to help you .if you are a foreigner from all over the world ,when you get beijing ,you can give them a call and they will arrange the car to receive you if possible.
of ourse this fees will be included in your staying charge ,but very little .
it is easy for you to call a taxi when you come out of the hotel.usually,you can ask the workers in the hotel to help you ,and they can help you to bargin with them and save you much...

Advantages: Near lots of tourist sites Disadvantages: Very Busy
...Beijing is a very different to the all the other cities in the rest of the world. It has changed alot since the end or the Miao reign and has been influenced by western culture a lot. There are still alot of bycles around but not as many as there used to be. No longer are there the comunal toilets where you all share, there are now sperated tolets although some of the Chineese do not shut the toilet doors becuase they like the htought of comunal toilets. Beijing is a very hot place in the summer so keep to the shade. The driving is also very manic, you have do dodge the cars....

Advantages: Frenzied energy of chaotic city, many worldclass tourist attractions, delicious food, incredibly safe & ridiculously cheap. Disadvantages: Gruesome pollution, occasional racism targeting foreigners & lack of freedom for those who take an organised tour (not recommmended).

Labyrinthine back streets spill out onto vast landscaped plazas, grey claustrophobic slums lead you to enormous mirror glass monsters and glossy corporate compounds – exploring Beijing by bike is unforgettable, addictive and remarkably safe. I once wound up eating chili-fried snails with Chinese soldiers on a iron bridge in the middle of nowhere – a strange, somewhat mystifying experience that, like the suicide, I will remember for ever, but never really understand.
THINGS TO SAY
Chinese a tonal language and tones can change the meaning on many words entirely. For example, while ma means mother, ma\/ means horse. When you buy a phrase book make sure it is one with tonal accents (I brought the Berlitz phrase book on my first visit, and it did not give any notes on tones!). The four tones are level...
