- Very good and clean hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Personalized attendance. The owners are from Northern Italy and the name comes from the famous Venetian palace. - It's trying to maintain its original European atmosphere but in some instances has submitted to more modern aspects. - Excellent restaurant, International cooking and Italian specialities. One of the best, if not the best, is the Bollito Misto accompanied by Mostarda di Cremona. This a delicious variety of boiled meats carved and served at the table, plus vegetables and the Cremona Mustard (which has almost nothing related to our common mustard) a hot condiment/dressing. - The installations and facilities make it such that one can spend quite a few days there without needing to go out. - I don't quite appreciate its location, near downtown, not very advisable to wander in the streets at night. This isn't quite a reference since you can't really find a "safe" place to go to or visit, even in busy streets/avenues with lots of commerce, stores, malls, muggings do happen.
Anyway, São Paulo still is much less 'worse' than Rio de Janeiro where drug wars are keeping 24 x 7.
