Advantages: Romantic Destination for City break Disadvantages: Can be Cold in Winter, as surrounded by water, Can be Smelly in summer.
...The Hotel Ca' Amadi was the perfect choice to take my girlfriend to propose to her. As she was already expecting me to do it, i thought that I would do the romantic thing and take her somewhere special I decided on Italy & Venice.
Finding cheap filghts wasnt a problem, I booked flights from East midlands airport for £24 return flights each, bargain, I then set about finding the ideal hotel in my budget.
I found that all of the well known venice hotels were expensive, for ultimately an impersonal standand room that could be in any city in the world.
Using a website Veniceby.com I found a hotel that I thought would be way off my budget, the Hotel Ca' Amadi. I knew I had made the right decision when my now fiancee burst out crying in amazement as we entered the suite I had been upgraded to.

Advantages: Away from the Tourist Hoards of St Marks. Disadvantages: None
...Just returned from our annual anniversery trip to Venice and noticed that no-one has done a review on this church as yet.
Just Jump on Vaperreto Number 2 outside St Marks.
As you stand by the water at St Marks you can not but notice a large Church on the opposite side of the Canal which is the Church of Santa Maria Della Salute, I am afraid I did not take any photos this year as the main dome is covered in scaffolding, in fact there seemed to be more buildings this year that were being worked on.

...very safe. TIP, Take a comfortable pair of trainers you will thank me for this tip!! Sense of direction, forget it. The buildings are 4 stories high and twist and turn all over the place, we ended up at the canal side on more than one occasion, oh there are signs pointing that a way, but when the pavements turn every dozen metres, you will find yourself thinking "have we passed this jewellers before"?
St Marcs Square is really stunning, expensive but it has a real wow factor. The Campanile is a 300ft tower with a lift that gives you a full 360 degree view of Venice. Also here is St Marcs Basilica, the beauty inside here is awesome, with a visit inside to the treasure room, other places of interest are Ca'd'oro which is a beautiful Gothic palace, the bridge of sighs given its name we where told because prisoners passing underneath would...

When I first got this album, after the strengths of Chasing Pavements, I decided to purchase this album. I like Amy Winehouse, but not looking good for her. Adele is different in the way she sings, you wouldn't think she was only 19. Her voice sounds... more
